We often get asked what the difference is between our minky and PUL All in Two Candies nappies.
The difference is simply the type of material that the outer shell is made of. Otherwise, both types of Candies are the exact same design and size, have the same side snap configuration at the hips and use the same booster sets. And as a result, will fit your baby in the same great way!
Minky Candies are our original Candies, with the outer of the shell being made from laminated minky. The longer pile (approximately 1mm) of the fabric is super soft.
With PUL Candies, the shell is made of polyester PUL (polyurethane laminate). The PUL on these shells isn’t hard or scratchy or stiff. They are made from a lovely soft type of PUL (similar to our PUL covers) that won’t irritate your little one’s skin around the elastics. The great thing about our PUL Candies shells is that they are actually slightly trimmer compared to the minky shells.
Which option you go for is totally down to personal preference – or you may even like both!
Here's Vicki showing the difference between the two fabrics.
